This one is for the Girls!

This one is for the girls whoever wanted pretty, silky straight hair!  I envied every girl that had that great hair!  My hair has always been so super curly and full of frizz!  Everyone has always told me, “Oh Jaime, I love your curly hair!”  Well I have never loved it!  Ever!  Don’t we always want what everyone else has?  Isn’t funny that we are never satisfied with what we have?  Well I decided to get satisfied with my hair!  Thursday I got the Coppola Keratin Treatment by Kristal Riera in Sulphur Springs, TX.  First let me tell you that I research everything I buy or participate in thoroughly before I do it!  I read over 350 reviews and everyone had nothing but great things to say about this treatment including Kristal.  Kristal also took a special class to learn how to apply this product.  This is very important!  So I decided to take the plunge!  Kristal applied the Coppola Keratin Treatment into my hair and “baked” the product in my hair by the use of a flat iron.  She had to carefully count eight times for each section of hair that she straightened to make sure it the product locked in.  The whole process took about four hours.  Now, I have a lot of hair and it is very thick and long!  It will probably differ depending on your hair situation.  Then I had to wait 72 hours to wash my hair.  I could not put in a pony tail either!  Now this was very hard for me because I am the ponytail queen!  Kristal did give my two silver clips that wouldn’t crease my hair so I could at least pin my bangs back.  So really the 72 hours was not a big deal.  She also re-straightened my hair daily until I could I wash it, just to make sure she got any creases out from sleeping.  Today girls, I got to finally wash my hair!  Generally it takes me 45 minutes to an hour to dry my hair.  Then another 30 minutes to flat iron my hair.  Then I usually can’t flat iron my hair that great so then it takes me another 20 minutes to hot roll it with huge rollers.  After I washed my hair today it took me 10 minutes to blow dry it and it was like I was born with silky straight hair!  I am so amazed!!  I really don’t even have to flat iron it.  But when I do it will only take about 5 to 10 minutes to get that amazing smooth look.  And I won’t have to use hot rollers because my hair is frizz free!!  I did find out that people with frizzy hair are lacking Keratin!  Hmmm…get it?  The Coppola Keratin Treatment?  I crack myself up sometimes!  I am in L-O-V-E with my hair!  Finally, after all of these years.  Isn’t technology great?  This treatment last from 2-6 months.  So I will keep you posted on how long it takes for me to have to get retreated!  But it was worth every penny!!  Now beware, there are knock off treatments that do not work like this product!  I researched those also!  So make sure you are getting the name brand.  You also have to wash and condition your hair with Coppola Keratin shampoo and conditioner which is sulfate free.  Sulfate free products do not lather.  It’s a little strange to not have shampoo suds up, but my hair is super clean!  I will post pictures on here as soon as I learn how to post pictures on my blog! =) As Kristal says, you get what you pay for ladies!  You’re the best Kristal!  Thanks for making my dreams come true!  And my rambling session comes to an end today!  Happiness comes from different spectrums of life, and great hair defiantly raises my happy meter!

I'm Sick of People Being Sick!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to my very first blog.  Let me warn you, this is me being me!  I am not going to use fancy “schmancy” words.  I am just talking real.  For real PEEPS!!  Please don’t get offended by anything I say.  This is only one woman’s opinion speaking out!  I’m in my thirties now and I used to be this very sweet and bubbly, na├»ve girl.  But over the years, the world has jaded me.  But I now know that we all go through things for a reason, we meet certain people for reason-whether we hate them or love them.  So I am really trying to get back to my bubbly and sweet self and moving forward and realizing not everyone is your friend and not everyone loves and cares about you!  You have to find those people who do and never let them go and let your grudges go you have against people!  You will breathe whole lot easier!
Speaking of breathing!  I’m sick of people being sick!  Aren’t you?  My sweet daddy has COPD and emphysema. Now before you go and judge and say, “well he shouldn’t have smoked all those cigarettes back then”, let me remind you that back then, everyone smoked!  Everyone!  Even teachers would take smoke breaks!  Every movie star smoked!  You could smoke on the airplanes!  It was a very accepted thing.  No one knew back then what cigarette smoking would cause in today’s world.  My dad has always been a hard working man with calloused hands.  He had to quit school in 7th grade to support his entire family because his dad died of cancer.  There were originally 10 brothers and sisters.  Two of them died when they were babies, so my dad had to support 7 brothers and sisters, himself and his mom.  But just because he has a 7th grade education, he is one of the smartest men I know.  Without him I would not have passed Geometry and Algebra in High school.  Without him, I would have never learned to ride a bike or know how to tie my shoes.  When my dad moved out his mother’s house he got into the construction business, building houses and roofing.  He taught my uncle Trent, who is very well known contractor now, my brothers and many other men how to construct things.  If you know anything about construction life, there is a lot of drinking and a lot of smoking cigarettes.  I didn’t grow up in the richest of family, monetary terms that is.  My dad made a lot of money but he had a gambling problem and he regrets so much that he did in the past.  I know you are probably saying, “Jaime, your airing your dirty laundry” But I know that Jesus washes are laundry sparkling clean with his blood!  So my question is should he have to go to the grave with regrets?  The man that worked his hands to a bone, does he deserve not to be able to even walk to the front door without running out of breath?  This sweet man that sacrificed for his family does he deserve to not get to run with his grandchildren, who he loves so dearly?  I say no!  So I have been researching on the internet!  The internet can be a horrible thing but it is also a wonderful plethora of information.  I knew there had to be a better lifestyle for him!  I knew somewhere out there people with COPD and emphysema are living a great life!  My dad could live for 30 more years!!  Why should he suffer the remaining part of his life?  So…I found a website called COPD living!  It has been absolutely wonderful!  Two wonderful gentlemen that have COPD contacted me.  I consider them my friends now.  One told me about a book called The One Minute Cure by Madison Cavanaugh.  I encourage you to read this book my friends.  I have always dreamed of being a pharmaceutical sales representative but could never get the job!  Now I know why God never let me have that job!  The other gentlemen told me about Stem Enhancer pills that he takes that have now helped him be able to go up stairs, walk his dogs and live LIFE!!  There are other amazing stories about this product that I could go on and on about!  I am now a distributer.  My dad will start them Monday!  I will keep you updated!!  Alan and I are going to start taking them also!  1 pill produces 3 NEW adult stem cells per day!!  You are allowed to take up to 12 a day!  Amazing!  You may read more about this product on my website: so I am so pumped about what the product has to offer!  There was a Harvard study done with this product with 500 people.  The 250 that took it were so much better compared to the 250 people who did not!  I will try to get more exact information about this study.  Also Google stem cell gun!  This guy was burned really badly and they sprayed his stem cells back on him and he was healed in 4 days!!  Watch it!  You have to see it to believe it!!  Now I know a lot of you are skeptics like me!  So, I’m going to blog about my dad’s progress and post pictures!  If you decide you want to take them, please let me know about you or your family member’s progress!  You can also become a distributor by signing underneath me on my website, if you’re interested!  I also took my dad to Baylor to the head pulmonologist.  We are looking at a lung reduction surgery also.  He will have to undergo lung therapy for 6 weeks before he can withstand the surgery.  He starts his therapy next week.  So I will end today with this, don’t regret what you have done…move forward and love everyone for who they are not what you think they should be!  If you don’t love them, who will?  Do they deserve to be sick because you’re mad at them?  Think about it!  Now you are probably saying, “Oh Jaime is mad at her dad because she didn’t always get the new pair of Nike's that everyone else was wearing or she didn’t get a brand new car when she graduated high school.”  No, I’m not angry at all and I wasn't back then either.  I love my parents to the moon and back and they love us (their children) more than anything.  My parents are the salt of the earth.  I am the person I am today because I did have to struggle and make sacrifices.  I want my kids to know how to struggle a little bit also.  Maybe not as much as I did, but they do need to learn some.  I think it builds character.  We all can blame someone for our problems, but why?  Only YOU can change YOU!!  No one else!!  Forgive and move on.  No one is perfect but Jesus Christ!  And my rambling session comes to an end today.  May God Bless You exactly where you are!! =)
